Alice in Wonderland

An other collection that I make is "Alice in Wonderland". I've always love that book so it was obviously for me to make a collection of these cards. Today, I would like to share with a card that I received from a private swap with Oleksa. The card that I want to show you today is that card :

I love that card, the Cheschire cat in Alice seems very scary for some people but I love it. And in that card, he has the hat of the Hatter and with the mouse from the famous scene of the tea party, this card is totally awesome, don't you think ?

Concentration camps cards

Sometimes, I saw people that have a very strange collection of cards. Mine is not really strange, but some people can be surprised to know that I collect that kind of card. I think it's more than a collection for me, it's a kind of way to remember what happened. That's why I collect cards showing concentration camps. One of the first book I read was "The diary of Anne Franck" and this book has haunted me all my childhood. So when I was 18 and more, I go seeing some museum about the wars and one especially (that I don't remember the name) moved me. I was walking on the museum and in front of me, I saw two corridors : one for "healthy people" and one for "children and old people". 

I wasn't here during all these wars, but I think we must not forget what happened before, so that's why I collect that kind of cards, to not forget !

Calendar cards

Hello everyone,

Sorry for not publishing this week-end, I was very busy preparing my relocation. To be forgiven, I will show you three cards today. It's a collection I began without thinking of it.

Let me explain. As I don't find a lot of "beautiful" postcards where I live, I sometimes buy my cards on internet. Last year, for Christmas, I bought some postcards and when receiving my order, I found this beautiful calendar card inside the enveloppe :

When I saw that card, I love it immediately. I wasn't expecting it, but it was a very great surprise. So I looked on the website where I bought my cards, and saw that they had two more calendar cards. Without thinking for a seconde, I bought them. And here are the two other calendar cards that I have : 

I hope that one day, I will find a new calendar card in my mailbox, because I totally love this collection :D

Disneyland Resort

Hello everyone,

Today, I will tell you about a collection that I made but I haven't a lot of cards in this one for the moment. This collection is : Disneyland Resort cards. I love Disneyland, not only for all the attractions, but also for all the characters. I'm really a fan because I love all the world of Disney, I think I've seen 90 percent of the Disney movies that exists. And I won't tell you how many times I see some of these movies ... I can't even say which of all these movies is my favourite one, because I love them all ^^

So let's talk about cards now. My collection is not really big (4 cards ...) but I hope people will find Disneyland cards to send me in the future.

So let me show you two cards I receive, one from a private swap with Trina49 :

I never did this attraction, because I'm totally afraid of it. But as it was my first card for this collection, I totally love it.

This one is from the official site of Postcrossing from Japan. I totally love it. I never saw something like that in the Disneyland Resort of Paris, but it's totally awesome. I love that card :D

Welcome to this new blog

Hello everyone,

I was thinking a few months ago to open a blog to put all the cards I received on it, and now that I have the motivation, here is my blog. In this one, I will try to put each day the cards I received, like that I will be able to share with you my passion for postcards.

It's a passion that begin thanks to Postcrossing, and now, I have already a thousand cards received by the way of the site and also by the way of the forum. Postcrossing is like a drug for me, but a good drug and I can't stop sending and receiving cards.

What I like most in this passion, is finiding the right card to the right person. I also love opening my mailbox each day to check the new cards I receive. As I said, it's a drug and like every drugs, I can't stop ^^ So if you think, you can help me with my collection, don't hesitate to collect me, I'm always open to private swaps.
